Do you need:
1 nice chicken 1,5-2 kg
the juice of 3 bitter oranges or 15 cl of sour grapes or the juice 2 lemons diluted in 6 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon rose water
½ teaspoon sugar
1 cinnamon powder pushpin
Sale q.b.

Preparation:
Clean up and empty the chicken thoroughly, salt inside and finally put it on a baking tray.

Roast the chicken in the oven, basting constantly with the sauce.

Once the chicken is golden brown and cooked to perfection, remove from oven and soak it in the drip pan with the juice of bitter oranges or with the mixture of agresto (or lemon juice) which will be added rosewater, sugar and cinnamon.

Put the chicken on a serving platter and serve accompanied with the same sauce remained on baking tray (Photo gives: virgilio.it).
